evacuate

3rd day at school, on the way to my Speech class, on the second period, and I heard a voice: PLEASE EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY. I frozed. | terceiro dia na escola, no caminho pra aula de speech, no segundo periodo, e uma voz ecoou no corredor: POR FAVOR EVACUEM O PREDIO. gelei.
the first thought was "there's a shooter killing people inside my school inside my american school. the second was that it should be just another fire simulation as I have seen on movies a bunch of times. the third was just follow the people to the school gym building across the street, where everybody went to without think twice. | o primeiro pensamento foi em um atirador matando pessoas dentro da minha nova escola americana. o segundo foi so' mais uma daquelas simulacoes de incendio que a gente ve nos filmes. a terceira foi so seguir as pessoas ate' o predio dos ginasios, do outro lado da rua, pra onde todo o colegio foi sem hesitar. 
the teachers seemed to be worried, the studets were not even caring about the situation - because we would lose classes and testes, which apparently is awesome. before a half hour, they decided to explain what happened: a explosive crystalized chemical substance was founded in the chemistry lab, with a military potencial to blow up a lot of things. they called police and the fire station to solve the situation befora evacuate the hole building and they gave us (free) food on lunch time. we stayed there for two hours and a half, I lost two periods and met a million of new friends. | os professores pareciam preocupados, os alunos pouco se lixando - ja' que iam matar aula e perder provas, o que aparentemente e' otimo. depois de meia-hora decidiram explicar: uma substancia explosiva e critalizada fora encontrada no laboratorio de quimica, com potencial militar pra explodir bastante coisa. chamaram a policia e os bombeiros pra resolver depois de evacuar o predio e nos deram comida de graca na hora do almoco. ficamos la' por duas horas e meia, perdi tres periodos e ganhei muitos amigos novos.
at least they have a tru chemistry lab. | pelo menos eles tem um laboratorio de quimica de verdade.
